According to City of Lewiston officials the reservoir located northeast of 16th Avenue and 29th Street failed in the early morning of January 18, 2023. Video and pictures were seen online showing flood damage to homes downhill from the reservoir.
A boil water advisory order has been issued for residents in the City of Lewiston. Residences of Lewiston Orchards Irrigation District are not affected by the advisory order, which has its own reservoir. If your property is damaged, city officials advise you to report it to 208-984-7069.
